About Chucky

The Story of Chucky the Shelf Elf:

We asked Santa for an Elf on the Shelf this year, and he sent one out right away.   But FedEx decided to pass the Elf on to our local Post Office for delivery, who then delivered him to the wrong house!   This house doesn't have packages delivered to their house ever, for their dogs are very playful and like to eat everything in sight!   The poor elf met his demise that day.   May he rest in peace.   Santa was very upset about this, and decided to send out two elves this time, and sent them overnight UPS.   This time, the elves made it here safe and sound.   Santa instructed me to give one to the neighbor kids who were very excited. 

We quickly began the naming process.   The list included some wonderful names; Jack, Frosty, Sherman, Fred, Bart, Carl, Daryl, Boyd, Raylan, Kevin, Kyle, Kenny, Chucky, Geoffrey, and Bruce.   But in the end, little man decided that only Chucky would do, and so the little elf became Chucky Fleming.   He was officially adopted into the family on 11/25/2013.

Since that night Chucky has been mischievous, but what else could we expect with a name like that!  We love our little elf very much and can't wait to see what he gets into next!
